No matter what service, arm of military or cap badge, we as a collective are always by your side, helping you to overcome challenges, keeping you moving forward to achieve mission success.
We endeavour to always do our best to support our members, worthwhile causes and charitable organisations within this community. Start your own “support mission” today.
We pride ourselves on being an uplifting and non-judgmental community. This is one of the cornerstones to our success and the foundation that we build upon. We never truly know what path anyone else has had to walk, therefore it is not our place to judge…
The Spartans excelled in battle due to their mastery of the phalanx. This was a closely- packed formation of warriors, fighting with long spears and shields.
The shield gripped by each soldier covered their left side from shoulder to knee and, most importantly, also protected the right side of the Spartan fighting next to them. The strength and integrity of the phalanx was the responsibility of every Spartan.
Standing shoulder to shoulder with interlocking shields, the warriors fought together as a group.
This is what Op Spartan is all about: We move forward together.
“I always thought the concept of Op Spartan was a great idea. I didn’t know how great until my daughter was diagnosed with lung cancer last year, aged 21. The support and encouragement we both received was phenomenal. I’m not exaggerating when I say, I felt I had some of these
Spartans walking right beside me, during the darkest times. I was able to support my daughter more than I would have been able to, without Op Spartan supporting me. I’ll be forever grateful”.
There's no better feeling than when you hear the words "thank you", for doing a simple thing to help out a Spartan in need. Community is everything
To be able to feel welcome, safe, un-judged and supported when needed is invaluable.
To have it through something like Op Spartan which was the brain child of a member and grown through hard work, effort and support of its own members is Incredible.
This team makes a difference!
It’s reassuring to know that I can be honest and vulnerable without being judged or ridiculed.
As strong and independent as I am, even I need a hug sometimes, which I’m always guaranteed from my fellow Spartans
There is a place , a place to go to if help, assistance, counselling, guidance, friendship, support and most of all love and encouragement is what you are after. This place is an Oasis, a place to come to that will indeed guide you when your days are dark , your lonely days, days when you get scared and days when you just need somebody to talk too. They will find someone that can lift you up, point you in the right direction and attempt to refill the good spirits that lies within you, this place is called Op Spartan.
This is a very supportive group of non-judgemental members. When I am in a dark place, the support has been generous and empowering
My mental health was in bits when I joined the Spartan family throughout the journey they have helped me and supported me to become the person I am now I can't thank them enough
This is a gathering place for those of us who have served, to continue to help, and serve each other.
It’s great to have a safe space where you know there is always someone who will be there for you.
A fantastic group of like minded people with a huge amount of support, empathy and guidance. This group has genuinely saved lives, transformed people and continues to do so. Honoured to be a member.
To be fair "spartan dragged me back for the edge of death and despair, would I be here without the support members have given me? Simply put no. I have gone from couch potato with no aspirations to running half marathons full marathons triathlons and eventually ironman. Thanks to the strength and support I have been given.
